What are Pages documents saved as?

Attempting to locate missing Pages documents but cannot locate any of them. Would they be saved with something other than .pages extension?

Only if you exported them other than .pages. In Spotlight (providing you have document indexing enabled in System Preferences Spotlight), enter the following in the Spotlight window: Kind:Pages Publication. This will find every Pages document on your machine. If you pause your mouse over a particular found .pages document, a Quick Look view will pop open to the left. Press and hold the command key and within five seconds, the path to the file will appear below the displayed document image.
