How can I download the latest safari

I've be unable to find the download for Safari on the Apple site. I have Version 5.1.10 (6534.59.10) and want to update it. Will I need to buy a new laptop or will I need to pay for update?

If your Mac specs qualify, you need to update your Mac OS X to get a new Safari version.

You either need to upgrade to Yosemite, or pay for Lion, or switch to a browser such as Firefox, or if your Mac is a Core Duo(not Core 2 Duo), buy a newer Mac.
