I am trying to use this app for mac called Reflector. It says I need to use airplay. BTW the software is to put your phone/ipod touch screen to your computer. I have tried plugging it in to my computer. Bluetooth and hot spot connecting with my iPhone is there anyone who could help?

Assuming both the Computer, and the iPhone are connected to the Same Wifi network, your Computer should appear in the Airplay Menu on your iOS device's Control Center.
You do no need to pair them, or plug them together at all.
Make sure Reflector is running on your computer. It may take a moment for your computer to be detected by the iPhone and until it does the airplay option in control center will not appear.
I use Reflector regularly. You need the Mac and iPhone to be connected to the same WiFi network, and Bluetooth must be on (but not paired) on both. Launch Reflector, display the Control Panel on the phone, tap on the Airplay icon, and tap on your computer's name.
