Messages not coming through in ipad 4

suddenly I am not getting my messages in my iPad. They go to my phone but no new ones to my iPad.

please help.

Did you check to make sure that you are still signed in to Messages in the settings? Are you using the iPhone number as the number at which you can be reached in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive>You can be reached by iMessage at?
