Dropped iPhone 5 earlier, now there is one white line on side of screen

I was walking with my iPhone 5 in my hand earlier today without a case and accidentally dropped it. No scratches, just a minor dent on top of phone. When I got home there was this one bold white line, and was covering some keys on the keyboard. For example, because of the white line covering the keys, I can no longer use the 'P' key, and using the backspace key is kind of hard to do as well. I'm not sure why this happened, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that I dropped it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
