iTunes on start up

this might be worth a try. (i'm afraid i've never been able to get it to work on belladonna, though.)

go "Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks". click "Add scheduled task". try setting up a scheduled task so that itunes runs on system startup.

any success?

Go to the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
or
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Put a shortcut to iTunes.exe in this folder.

Chris, is there a way to get itunes to play (as well as launch) on start-up using a similar technique? would a shortcut to a song file in the itunes library do the trick?

Not sure. I don't have iTunes on my pc.

You can add a playlist from WMP to the startup items folder and WMP will start playing on startup.
