I just opened my iPad Air 2 wi-fi new, right out of the box less then a week ago. I set up Touch ID but I never set up any other pass code on this iPad, ANYWHERE. My 9-year old locked me out this morning (she was not aware of Touch ID and not reading the messages). Now it wants a pass code that never existed. Help! Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you do not have access to the passcode to get into your iPad, then you will need to go over the article below get it unlocked for you. You may end up having to restore your iPad all together.

When you set up a fingerprint/touch ID it will request you set up a 4 digit passcode as well, afaik you cannot set up a fingerprint & not set this code as this is your 'backup' access to your device shuld the fingerprint 'scan' not work.
