Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hi,
I turn the power on. I get the opening tone. Grey screen with apple comes up. The thinking thing starts (not pinwheel). A progress bar starts towards the bottom but before it really starts to fill up, the computer shuts off. What should i do to start it up?

For most issues with not being able to boot up your iMac, take a look at the article below to get it sorted out. I would start with resetting the NVRAM and then following up with using Disk Utility to verify the hard drive to see if there are any isuses.
