how do you turn off called id on a I phone 5 with os 8.1.3. I used to do it in settings but it is not there anymore.

Try Settings>Phone>Calls>Show My Caller ID> turn off the switch.

You can dial *67 before you dial the phone number you are trying to call and it will block you phone number for that call only
