how to save a frame of an imovie clip as a jpeg for printing

I have a video clip in iMovie and I would like to take a photo from that clip and print it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you,

This capability has been added in the latest version of iMovie (10.0.6). Move the playhead in the timeline to the frame you want to capture, select File - Share - Image..... and you choose where to save it. The result is a .jpg image that you can view and print, for example with Preview.
