howto deselect a label/textfield

in my osx app

when viewcontroller loads with editable labels/textfield?

one label/textfield is always selected allready, with a blue marker around it

howto deselect this in code, so it starts without textfields/labels being allready selected?

and also how in code to create that when clicking an empty space on the backround labels/textfields are deselected?
