Hi
When i import photos from my camera or SDcard, iphoto wound show them correct. They are cut in half (horizontal) some blank and others are multicoloured, but when i start edit them, they appear correct.
Hope there are a "geek" outthere to help me.

What version of iPhoto and the OS? Importing Raw or Jpeg?

The iPhoto version are 9.6 and OS X Yosemite. Both Raw and Jpeg import crash.
As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

What camera are these photos from and they RAW or jpeg files?
If they are RAW files try this: select one of the thumbnails of a problem file and use the Photos ➙ Reprocess RAW menu option:

Someone with succes, others just go totally blank.
And yes, it is RAW files.
Which camera are they from?
They are from a Canon eos 600, but i when i use them with Lightroom 4, no problem.
