While using video call on Google Hangouts app on my iphone 6 plus, the phone went blank (blue screen) and restarted automatically. This has happened twice now. The iOS version i have is 8.1.3.
Please help me fix this.

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Appel logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, try to delete the app and install it again.
This has happened during group call. Phone had restarted and worked fine after that. Now have deleted the app & re-installed the same. Will observe the performance for a day or two.
Excact same problem here on a iPhone 5S. Didn't even use video call. After 30 min in hangouts conference call, the phone rebooted (blue screen). The phone was very warm before reboot. Could heat be the problem ?
For me this happened during the group call. During the call, phone also got heated up.
Reinstalled the app but still the problem continues.
