Mac Mini late 2012 with LG Ultrawide 29UM55-P

Hi everyone! I bought this monitor and do not get a resolution of 2160x1080 from the Mac Mini late 2012 (using Windows 7 with Bootcamp, no problem by HDMI). I am using a Mini-Display Port to HDMI adapter ( since I had read that HDMI - HDMI can not get a higher resolution of 1920x1080 ) , and still I can not get the maximum resolution of 2160x1080 .

Someone with this monitor ( LG Ultrawide 29UM55 -P ) can help me?

Thanks! 🙂

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

HDMI on an Mac for in OSX only get you 1920X1200 max.

You monitor has

  • HDMI
  • DisplayPort
  • Audio Output
  • Yes(2EA)

Just use a mini displayport to display port cable, about $10. The mini displayport end plugs into the Thunderbolt port.
