why are my apps failing to update on iPhone 5 after installing IOS8

My iPhone 5 is failing to update apps. I am using IOS 8 and suspect this may be the problem. Wish I had never upgraded to IOS 8. Has anyone got a way around this problem?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.3

iOS 8 does not cause apps to fail their updates. Could you please describe the problem in more detail, please?

The Apple shop sorted it for me by reinstalling IOS 8. It was thought the IOS 8 download I did had a glitch.
