I downloaded the security update for Mavericks and I didn't wait for it to install. App store says it was downloaded but now every time I turn off the computer I get a message click abort to cancel installation. What can I do?

What can I do to get it to finish installing. My computer is on for many hours 4 - 6 hrs. And after turning the computer down I keep

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), null

Try re-indexing Spotlight. Maybe the App Store will then know it isn't installed.
