Q: iOS 8.1.3 update slows and freezes pages

SSince installing the latest update, iOS 8.1.3, loading is slow, painfully so, and I receive repeated error messages informing me that the page had to be reloaded. I hate this! Anyone know of a fix?

    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

     

    I understand that webpages are loading slower than you would expect in Safari on your iPad. One troubleshooting step I would suggest if your cellular and/or Wi-Fi speeds are as you would expect, would be to clear your history and website data. For information on this process, please refer to the attached article. 

     

    Safari web settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

     

    Clear information from your device

    To clear your history and cookies from Safari in iOS 8, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. In iOS 7 or earlier, tap Clear History and tap Clear Cookies and Data.

     

    To clear other stored information from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.
