I have a new Mac and I cannot send an email copy of a spreadsheet to my partners that they can open. Have stored it in the cloud and sent a link, but they are still unable to open. Help

Are you using Numbers? Are they, or are they using Microsoft Excel? (in which case you would have to export it as Excel). Are they perhaps using a different version of Numbers? (You can also export to Numbers '09 format).

They are using Excel, I am sure. One is to a bank officer and other a comptroller of a large corp.
So yes, export to Excel first. File - Export - Excel.
