hdcp error 3

I've tried everything I've read in here, powering off and on, changing resolutions, changing cables and switching between hdmi ports of the tv. Nothing can make atv3 get out of the hdcp error. Do I need to buy a new tv which will be a Smart tv with netflix already on it to use the ATV? that seems a little odd... Any solution for this?
