Mail problems
Mail will not connect to server, messages says I am not but all other applications do connect to server 1st time this has happened in 3 years,what can I do to correct this

I assume the server in question is your email's server so first to check is whether the account uses SSL or not & that the port settings are correct.
Usually SSL uses incoming - 993 outgoing - 465 ports but this may be different for you.
Also check the server details like your imap/pop & smtp server settings are correct as they may have changed recently.
Which ISP do you use?
