SLOW KEYBOARD RESPONSE

I am typing in a table and the words/numbers show up 1-2 seconds afterward. I thought it was a low battery on the mouse or keyboard so I replaced them. It still does it. It had been fine until a week ago. As I am typing here, it is fine, appears to only be happening within the table. Any suggestions will help!
