Upgraded to itunes 12.1.1.4 now can't import mp3's. Any ideas...???

Following an upgrade to 12.1.1.4 nothing appears in the "recently added" folder when I import my mp3's. It worked perfectly before the upgrade. Anybody have any ideas...???
