no longer able to hide apps
I used to be able to hide apps by clicking on 'purchased' and then hovering mouse over app until an 'x' would appear, but the 'x' no longer appears. Any advice would be appreciated.

It appears to have stopped working with the current version of iTunes (or a recent version anyway, can't remember when I last hid an app) - other items (music, films and TV programmes) can still be hidden. You could try leaving feedback about it to Apple : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
