In iOS8 can I disable text quick reply?

When someone texts me and it pops up on my screen and I hit reply, it doesn't take me to the message app and instead just has me type it out and send in whatever other app I'm currently using.

Is there a way to turn this off so that when I reply to a text, it opens up the message app like in iOS7 (and every other iOS)?
