Problems with iMovie slide shows burned to DVDs

Problems with iMovie slide shows burned to DVD.

Recently started using iMovie for slide shows. First one created played ok on iMac but when burned to DVD and played, picture shivered and music stopped at about 20 seconds. Started again if I clicked on time passed line. Second slide show no problem at all but third show had same problems as first. Assumed DVDs to be problem but used one from different maker with same bad result as with shows number one and two above. Any suggestions please.

Played how and viewed on what? How burned? Are you creating data disks and burning the video files to the disk with the Finder? What speed are you burning at? Slower speeds produce better results as do top quality DVD brands , Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden.

What system are your running and what version of iMovie?
