Headphone Jack & iTunes

When I put any type of headphones in my Macbook Air and tap the jack, iTunes will automatically open up and start playing songs. And if I pick up or move the laptop, the songs will change, pause, and return to the start. How do I fix this? I have a 2013 Macbook Air.
