creating templates in fcx

I want to create a template in motion for FCX, a kind of layout of drop zones where to drop videos in, is possible to do it?

Apple Motion is the tool for creating templates:

Choose your type to start the type of project (a "Motion Project" is a general standalone type of project if you don't need to create an effect for FCPX.) At ~$50 + tax, it's one of the better values available. There are plenty of available tutorials online to help you get up and running quickly. (Search YouTube.)

Specifically you'll want to create a Generator with drop zones.

was trying on motion but without success, but I did not create a template as generator, thank you.

i created a layout with 3 drop zones and saved it, what I want to do in final cut x is to open it and drag and drop clips into them, but FCX only see one drop zone

ok i think the problem was due to i created one drop zone and copied it many times, so final cut x just see one.
