Google Earth Crashes

I have downloaded google earth mac version 7.1. , created in 2013

When I try to search for my own address, the app crashes and I am told to report this to Apple, and a page full of code, which I can not understand, appears.

I have gotten help from Apple Care, but only to allow me to use a 2009 version of Google Earth.
