Not without some information -

Mac model/year

which OS is on it now?

How are you trying to reinstall?

Was it downloaded using recovery?

Model is Imac 2008,

Was on Mavericks,

Via USB install,

Tried recovery and it downloads fully,but will not restart to complete installation.
