Unsupported RAW files in Mavericks from Yosemite ?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a camera profile from Yosemite and use it in Mavericks ?

I'm specifically looking for the canon 7D mark II profile, which is not available in Mavericks, but is in Yosemite.

(I can't upgrade to Yosemite as my Mac is not supported)

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), 2x2.66 dual core xeon

Thanks for the answer.

That's really the question.

There are indeed profiles that you can use and that Apple updates with each Digital Raw Compatibility update. The trick used to work in Mavericks, and I read that it works in Yosemite.

However, I understand that Apple changed their image engine in some way within Yosemite, compared to Yosemite. The question is wether they also changed the way they process RAW pictures. I tend to think it is likely, as you suggest. However, I would rather have a confirmation from some developer who know the inside out of apple image engine.
