My water damaged Iphone 4 started charging after 2 years. It only charged for about a minute then shut itself off.

So 2 years ago I went swimming with my Ipod 4th Gen in my pocket and it kinda broke. But today, I decided for fun to see if it will work and it started to charge! It only charged for about a minute then shut itself off. I cant turn it back on or charge it and itunes wont recognise it. Ive looked at countless ways to turn it on but nothing will work.

Anything I can do?
