Do not disturb

The do not disturb function of my phone a) blocks calls from my favorites list (set up to allow those calls through), giving the caller a busy signal. B) stays on longer than scheduled. C) is not over ridden by multiple calls, even though it is set up to do so. This problem is intermittent and no, my mute button is not on. Any help?

Basic troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from a back up, restore as new.

If you restore from a back up on a computer, and still have the same problem.. Restore again and use an iCloud backup instead. THEN if it doesn't work, restore as new. Same problem again? Time for repair/replacement.
