export or copy imovie 10 event
Is there any way to export or copy an imovie 10 event to another folder, so that I can upload the whole thing (i.e. imported images and clips, titles, etc.) to an ftp site for other people to use and edit?

Almost, but it has to be a complete library (you can make a new library containing just the one event). In order that the library contains all required media (including things from iTunes, iPhoto, Aperture libraries etc) you may need to consolidate media - see: http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.0/#mov882dee351
You can then copy the library wherever you want with the Finder. See: http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.0/#mov3fa25bae7
for more information.
The other very important thing to keep in mind is that the other editors must be using exactly the same version of iMovie. Even minor update differences may otherwise cause problems.
Geoff.
PS: Its important that the library package structure is preserved - I'm not sure whether this might be a problem when uploading / downloading from an ftp server.
Thanks Geoff, that was helpful and gave me food for thought.
