Stderr file appeared in my home folder?

I recently (today) noticed I had a file appear in my home folder called "stderr." I've never seen anything like it. It's listed as a "document" and takes up literally no space. It says it was created on March 3rd of this year, so 2 days ago. Anyone else ever had anything like this? I'll upload a screen image if anyone needs to see it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The file kinda has me worried, I would delete it, but I'd like to find out what it is first.
