screen stuck in zoom even after reboot. How can I type in the password to restart when I can't get it to ask for password?
iPad 2, iOS 8.1.2
Use three fingers to tap the screen. Tap it twice, and a window will come up that will allow you to zoom out. To turn Zoom off permanently, go to Settings>General>Accessibility, and turn Zoom to OFF.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had tried a few times but the screen still have no response.
Reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Slide to Unlock screen displays, if it is still in Zoom mode, then try the three finger double tap. Make sure all three fingers are touching the touch screen and tap twice quickly.
