safari was hacked

My Safari was hacked, so I checked communities site and found out how to re set it. (go to folder) and renamed safari to (safari_old.) Now I have lost all my book marks. Can I get them back? Don't want the hack back but I just clear out all the old ones and put in folders. anyone know?
