Hi,
I have a MBPro and can't seem to eject a DVD. It's grayed out under File.
What can I do to force eject it? Btw, I don't have a mouse, but tried restarting and holding down on the trackpad. No good.
I had put in a dvd to burn a .img of a film, put in a dvd but the burn button was grayed out and the dvd player didn't show up in the list under drives like I thought it would.
Should I go to the MBPro Forum?

Sorry, I should have said I was using Disk Utility to burn the dvd.

Just checked the System Report. It says, "No disc burning device was found..."
Houston, we have a problem.
"No disc burning device was found..."
The inability to eject the disc is secondary to the primary problem: no disc burning device. I'd reset SMC (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295) to see whether the system can locate the hardware.

I did get it out. I tried a bunch of things. What finally worked was turning the MBP upside down tapping it a few times, I ran a business card in the slot, I heard some squeak-squeaks, then I restarted holding down the touch pad and out she came. Tho it may have been the result of everything which would be too much to relate.
