Ipad air 2 is not detecting any bluetooth device.

I tried to do a reset but doesnt work either. Why would it not detect? Any thoughts pls!!!

iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 8.1.3

What device are you trying to connect to?

Have you placed the device in pairing mode?

I am trying to connect to BOSE Music Wave II. I thought first it would detect the bluetooth devices and then from there you choose one, right!

Thanks John. The pairing has to be done little differently (by pressing the BOSE remote for 5 seconds before it can discover its pair) and i got it worked.
