I tried to purchase something and it was declined now it says I need to update my payment method.
iPhone 5c, iOS 8.1.3, It's an apple I'd problem

If you are still unable to make a purchase from the iTunes or App Stores I would take a look at this article to help you get your payment information updated. You can do this on either your iOS or Mac OS X device, whichever is easiest for you:
Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID)
