when is a new update coming out?

When is a new update for Itunes coming out? This latest one 12.1 something does not work on my computer. I tried all sorts of fixes. I can't even install it on my computer anymore. I still have it on my phone, so all is not totally lost yet. I'm hoping the new update fixes itself.
