iPad. Email. Two devices.

I only have the 16G iPad Air 2. I can receive Gmail on it but because storage is limited on my iPad. I wish to be able to access email on two devices. iPad to read and delete and my computer to store the emails. Can I do this? My Gmail is configured to store on server. But.. if I delete my email off my iPad, will I still be able to access it on my computer? Many thanks for your help.
