Hi All
I have recently changed my apple id and password.
I am unable to sign out on my phone or turn off the find my i-phone function in order to restore a backup to my phone.(i-cloud only)
I have tried the old password as it is the old id that still appears on the phone ( I have also tried the new password - no luck)
iPhone 5, iOS 8.1
change your password via iCloud.com n switch off your phone n then off find my iPhone

I have the same problem. I changed my icloud ID/Email and the phone won't let me sign out and sign in with the new email/ID. Are you saying to change my icloud password BACK to the old one that matched the old icloud ID? then sign out, then change it back to the new ID and start up the phone again? THANKS!
just go to apple https://appleid.apple.com/ and change your password and then try
signing out of icloud
