WiFi

Ever since i updated my iPad 2 to ios 8 ive noticed that my wifi strength and range had drastically decreased. I usually get 2 bars at my room, but now i constantly get 1 at a very low speed upto nothing. i tried resettin the network settings still nothing had changed. How can i fix this?
