finder window will not open

Finder window will not open from the dock unless I right click and click "New Finder Window". Currently running Yosemite 10.10.3 (14D87p) public beta (iMac - 27" late 2013).

Tried the following fixes:

1. Deleted finder.plist and restart.

2. Force quit Finder - when I do this, I get the "Finder not responding" and have to restart computer and right click for "New Finder Window".

3. Perform "disk permission repair".

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Well I'm glad that I"m not the only one with the issue. I'm also running Yosemite 10.10.3. About 2 days ago Finder stopped responding. I have reported it via "Feedback Assistant".

I did create a new profile and it does open with a new profile. Which is kinda strange. I have also done items 1-3 listed in the original post.

I will keep an eye on this post to see if anyone solves the issue at hand.

First I noticed was finder window would not show the contents of my download folder.
After a few attempts I relaunched finder and that resulted in finder not opening.

Went to relaunch again and noticed I had finder showing twice is Force Quit.

Decided to shutdown and restart my MacPro... seems to be working Ok now but!

Checked for updates but none listed.....

finder window will not open
