Unable to leave a screen showing census records on Ancestry site
Could not leave screen to search another site on Safari. No X or Done

If its the only tab open there will be no x. You can tap on the 2 squares on the top left corner of the screen to brng up the thumbnail view, and then close the page either by tapping on the X, or swiping the thumbnail up and off the screen.
Otherwise, you can simply type the url for a new page in the url bar at the top, or type a search term directly there too to be found in Google. No need to close the page really.
Also, since I doubt you meant to post in the Bluetooth forum, as this is not related to it in any way, I'll request it be moved to the iPad forum.
