Is it Normal to have to sign into iCloud multiple times

I Have an iPhone 5s and an iPad air, am new to apple. Is it normal to have to resign in to iCloud?

I Seem to be prompted at odd times to sign in, if I ignore am able to do what I wanted anyway? i.e. Look at

photos, calendar, etc. Then when I do sign in, half of the time I get a message that is the wrong password

and have to change it. Finally when I've changed it I have to re enter it multiple times, sometimes three before

tther ie no more prompt To sign in. High maintenance. Does this seem normal?
