When streaming Netflix picture will freeze, sometimes screen goes blank. Restarting often does not solve problem. Help!

Sounds like your internet connection isn't fast enough to stream correctly.
Anybody else using the internet at the same time?
Does it happen in other apps like Youtube?
How is the Apple Tv connected to the internet? Wifi? wire?
Thank you. This is a problem that has developed recently. My download speed is 16.25 Mbps. I am connected through WiFi. I haven't tried other Apps. I will have to do that to see if there is a similar issue.
16.25Mbps should be plenty for Netflix streaming in pretty high quality.
So there may be something else going on entirely.
Also try connecting by ethernet cable to your modem just to test, and to rule potential things out.
Thanks again, Phil. I think what I will do is check the internet speed the next time it happens. Perhaps my problem is with Time Warner. (Fingers Crossed)
