Second screen question help pls.

So I want to hook up my Samsung tv or something like that, maybe a lenovo screen to my 27'' iMac Mid 2011, but after looking on the webs i've come to a decission to make.. Should i use a Mini Displayport to HDMI normal or Mini Displayport to HDMI female, so i need to get a seperate HDMI cable (which i have) and if i should you with mini displayport with female HDMI connector, which one should i buy? AND my mac is bootcamped.

Or should i use something else?
