How could i know if my sold and shipped iphone was activated ?

Hi, I sold my old iPhone 5 on eBay to a person in Ukraine. He pretends that he have never received it. How could I know if it's been activated, and where ?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.2

If you properly cleared the iPhone when you sold it you would have no way of knowing if it had been activated.

You can't. However, contact the shipping company that you used. Did you require a signature upon receipt?

Go to https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/ and put in the serial number, if you still know it. And this page will tell you if it has been activated with an Apple ID.
