Euclid fonts in Illustrator CS6

I use Euclid fonts (prepared by MathType) for technical presentations that include figures prepared in Illustrator CS6. Illustrator does not recognized the Euclid fonts even though the are in the Mac font book. Any solutions?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
